After earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Illinois and a Masters from Northern Illinois University, Aaron West moved to Los Angeles to spread his wings. He quickly became one of the most gifted rising stars of the industry. It was not long before Aaron's unique saxophone sound caught the attention of world-renown bassist and film composer Stanley Clarke. Under Stanley's direction, Aaron was immediately thrust into several major network recording studio sessions for the HBO hit series "Soul Food".
Later, after a whirlwind of celebrity performances, tours and recording sessions with Macy Gray, John Mayer, Christina Aguilera, Marcus Miller, and Roy Hargrove, Aaron delivered an all-star live performance with Miriah Carey and Randy Jackson at the 2006 Grammy Awards. His most recent acclaim was lead saxophonist for NBC’s Carson Daly Show band.
